Kate Johnson, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Supervisor
Kate Johnson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to providing comprehensive and personalized mental health support to adults seeking guidance and healing. Over her years of practice she has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges individuals face, and she is passionate about assisting them in their journey toward growth, empowerment, and well-being. Her ultimate goal is to help clients discover their inner resources, unlock their potential, and foster lasting positive changes that extend beyond the therapy room.
Kate takes a holistic, person-centered approach, tailoring each session to the individual needs and goals of her clients and incorporating EMDR as needed. Working collaboratively, she empowers clients to build resilience and enhance self-awareness.
Throughout her career she has worked with diverse populations, each with their own stories and challenges. Her experience across a range of clinical settings has equipped her to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences.
Kate has extensive experience with young adults navigating life changes, parents managing the challenges of parenthood, and people in demanding careers. She works with clients to identify stress management skills, implement coping skills for anxiety and depression, establish healthy boundaries with friends, family, and work, identify priorities, and practice healthy communication.
